Welcome Haley!

At Suncoast Family Medical Associates, we believe healthcare is most effective when it is built on trust, relationships, and a genuine commitment to helping patients live healthier lives. For decades, our practice has proudly served individuals and families throughout Largo, Seminole, and the greater Pinellas County community, providing comprehensive primary care focused on prevention, wellness, and long-term health.

As a trusted family medicine practice, we care for the whole person—not just individual symptoms or isolated conditions. Whether you’re scheduling an annual wellness visit, seeking preventive healthcare services, managing a chronic medical condition, or looking for a primary care physician who truly takes the time to listen, our experienced team is here to support your healthcare journey every step of the way.

Our providers focus on proactive, patient-centered care designed to help patients maintain their independence, improve their quality of life, and stay ahead of potential health concerns. Through regular checkups, preventive screenings, chronic disease management, diagnostic testing, and personalized treatment plans, we work to identify issues early and help patients achieve their best possible health outcomes.

We understand that many serious health conditions—including heart disease, diabetes, hypertension, osteoporosis, and certain cancers—often develop without obvious symptoms. That’s why we encourage patients to establish care and stay connected with their primary care team, even when they feel healthy. Regular preventive care visits allow us to monitor your health over time, coordinate important screenings such as mammograms, colonoscopies, and bone density testing, and ensure you remain up to date on the services that support healthy aging.

Suncoast Family Medical Associates is especially proud to serve Medicare-aged adults and seniors throughout Pinellas County. Our physicians have extensive experience caring for patients enrolled in Medicare Advantage plans, including Humana Medicare Advantage, as well as Original Medicare. We understand the unique healthcare needs of older adults and are committed to providing coordinated, comprehensive care that emphasizes prevention, chronic disease management, patient education, and continuity of care.

More than anything, we believe healthcare should feel personal. Our goal is to create lasting partnerships with our patients, empowering them to make informed decisions while providing the guidance, resources, and support needed to navigate today’s healthcare system with confidence.

When you choose Suncoast Family Medical Associates, you’re choosing a healthcare team dedicated to helping you stay healthy, active, and thriving—for today, tomorrow, and the years ahead.

THE PRACTICE

Frequently Asked Questions:

Who are the patients we serve?

We are a network provider for Humana. A Humana Medicare Advantage Plan can provide all the benefits of Original Medicare and then some including prescription drug coverage.

A Humana policy can supply:

  • Medicare Advantage HMO

  • Medicare Advantage PPOs

M.D. or D.O. ?

  • There are two types of complete physicians, D.O. and M.D.

  • Both M.D.s and D.O.s base diagnosis and treatments on scientifically proven conclusions.

  • Both attend four years of Medical School plus a residency program.

  • Both take the MCAT and go through a rigorous application process.

  • Both are licensed by the same licensing boards.

  • Both can choose to practice in any specialty of medicine.

  • D.O.s are also trained in osteopathic manipulative medicine.

How often do our patients see a doctor?

The short answer is: We are here as often as you need us. At a minimum, our physicians will schedule your regular appointments twice a year. After assessing the patient’s state of health, our physicians may order additional blood work or refer you to a specialist. There are instances such as Coumadin Clinic or chronic conditions where you may be scheduled more frequently.

Do you specialize in any other services?

  • All of our physicians are on call 24/7.

  • We offer hands-on care by providing manipulations, also called OMT procedures (osteopathic manipulative treatments).

  • Our medical assistants are very well-trained in drawing blood, and we do our own lab draws in the office.

  • If a patient’s diagnosis suggests the need for a specialist, we will make that referral.
